Remembering Tim

Today would have been my cousin Tim's 34th birthday. I really miss him, and the best way I know to honor him is to pray for Joan, Prince, Amy, Lisa, Ian, Maddie and Camden, and to try to follow the life mission statement he created.

It reads:

To be there for both my family and friends. Not be just about what I have but really try to be about what I can offer, or Do for others. Try to balance my life as to make time for my children, my wife, myself, my job, my business and still feel what life is really about. The love for my family has caused me to realize that its not what you have, but the quality of life you live. I don't want to work so hard to have things or bigger “things” but to learn to enjoy the little things in life. The power is nice and it feels good to be on top, but what's on top? Do we just complicate life with details and miss the real meaning? I want to be at all the games, plays, parties, graduations and all other major events in my children's life. I don't want to be the absent father that works too much and don't experience the raising of my children until its too late. Let's find a happy medium in life and try to maintain a balance in all the above to be “successful" or "on top”.

Harbor Park - Tides Baseball

Elizabeth attended her first baseball game at Harbor Park tonight. Thanks Grandmommy and the Lake View Medical Ctr. She had a hot dog, cookie, watermelon, pink lemonade, and cotton candy for the road!
