Duck & Hurricane Ophelia

We had a great 4 day weekend down in Duck with my mom. "Slophelia" gave us a show the first couple of days, but is was glorious after the storm passed.

Richmond NASCAR Race

My dad, Rusty, some friends and I attended the Chevy Rock-n-Roll 400 NASCAR Race yesterday. We had a great time the music, tailgating and racing. Here's a video of the first two laps:

Elizabeth Goes To School

Today was Elizabeth's first day at the West Ghent School. She will be going to pre-school twice a week for a half day in the 2-year old class, also known as Squirrels. She had a great time and brought home a poem and hand print.
